Abstract

Presentava un ampio cortile scoperto circondato da corridoi coperti (chiostro), su cui si affacciavano le stanze dei due piani. Il piano superiore doveva ospitare le celle dei monaci e probabilmente la biblioteca. The monastery was built by taking advantage of part of the southern side of the church of San Nicola. It featured a large open courtyard which was surrounded by covered corridors (the cloister), onto which faced the rooms of the two floors. The storerooms, kitchens, refectory and possibly also the chapter house were presumably on the ground floor. The monks' cells, and probably the library, must have been on the upper floor. Es verfügte über einen großen, offenen Innenhof, der von überdachten Gängen (Kreuzgang) umgeben war, auf die man von den beiden Stockwerken schauen konnte. Im Erdgeschoss gab es vermutlich die Lager, die Küchen, das Refektorium und möglicherweise auch der Kapitelsaal. Im Obergeschoss befanden sich vermutlich die Mönchszellen und die Bibliothek. El monasterio fue construido utilizando parte del lado meridional de la iglesia de San Nicolás. Presentaba un amplio patio abierto rodeado de pasillos cubiertos (claustro), sobre el que se encontraban las habitaciones de dos plantas. En la planta baja se encontraban, presumiblemente, los almacenes, las cocinas, el comedor y, posiblemente, la sala capitular. La planta superior debía albergar las celdas de los monjes y, probablemente, la biblioteca.
